Benefits of Zapier Integration

Integrating Beep with Zapier allows users to enhance their workflow. This integrations allows you to automate how you share and receive beeps as zaps on Zapier. Instantly send beeps to your teammates on Zapier or get notified on the platform when you receive beeps.

Integrating Beep with Zapier

  1. Open the dashboard (click here to learn how).
  1. Click on the “Integrations” tab.
  1. In the Zapier Integration container, click on the “Show API keys” button.
  1. On the upper-right side of the pop-up window, click on the words “following link” to be redirected to Zapier.
  1. Log-in to Zapier, if prompted to.
  1. When you are redirected to the invitation page, scroll down to and click “Accept Invite and Build a Zap”.
  1. Then continue creating new zaps like you usually would. When selecting triggers you can search for “Beep” and use it.
  1. When setting up a Zap with Beep, you will be asked for credentials. Use the “Integration ID” and “API key” that are available when you click on the “Show API keys” within the Zapier integration container in the Integrations tab of the Beep dashboard.

How to use Zapier with Beep

  1. Create a beep on your browser (click here to learn how).
  1. Once you’ve typed your message, click on the projects button.
  1. On the pop-up window, click on the Notion integrations tab
  1. Select the specific Notion project. Once this is done, you’ll see the selected project appear on your beep comment box.
  1. To tag a teammate, type “@n+” in the comment box and you’ll see a window display your Notion team.
  1. Select the teammate you wish to assign the task to.
  1. Click “Save / Send” to deliver it to them directly via Notion.

How to use disconnect Zapier integration

  1. Open the dashboard (click here to learn how).
  1. Click on the “Integrations” tab.
  1. In the Zapier Integration container, click on the “Settings” button.
  1. On the upper-right corner of the next page, click on the “Disconnect” button.
  1. On the “Cancel integration” pop-up window, click on the “Delete” button to confirm.
  1. Lastly, click the “Done” button.
