Benefits of Telegram Integration

A) Receiving Beeps

You will receive beeps directly on your Telegram when:

• someone tags your username in the beeps they create.

• someone tags your username in replies to comments.

• someone assigns a beep to you.

• someone assigns/adds you to a project.

The messages you receive will include the beep’s comment, its screenshot and an option to view both a larger screenshot and the link of the page where that beep was created.

B) Replying

You will also be able to reply to beeps you receive directly from Telegram.

Integrating Beep with Telegram

1. Open the dashboard (click here to learn how).

2. Click on the “Integrations” tab.

3. In the Telegram integration container, click on the “Connect” button.

4. A code will be generated for you (appears in green). Copy this code.

5. Open Telegram (best if done on your computer).

6. In the search bar, type “Beepo” and a list of suggested results will show.

7. Click on “Beepo” account with the “@BeepIt_Bot” username.

8. On the Beepo chat, click on the “Start” button.

9. You’ll receive a welcome message that will ask you for your code. Paste the code you were given from the dashboard into the chat (if it took you longer than 1 minute, the code will expire. In this case, regenerate the code on the dashboard, copy and return to Telegram to paste it).

10. Finally, click on the send icon. A message will appear confirming you have successfully connected your Beep account to Telegram. When you go to the dashboard’s Integration tab, you will also see that Telegram has a green check mark saying “Integrated”.

How to receive Beeps in Telegram

Once successfully integrated, you will automatically receive both beeps and replies in this Telegram chat.

It is important to note that you will only receive beeps or replies that you have been tagged in (i.e., your username was typed in the comment or reply).

How to reply to beeps in Telegram

You can reply to others’ beeps & replies directly in the Telegram chat.

Here are the steps:

1. Open the “Beepo” chat on Telegram.

2. Find the beep you want to reply to.

3. Click on the “Reply” button below that beep. You will receive a prompt saying, “Please enter your reply”.

4. Type your reply in the chat box (you can tag your teammates using their Beep username too).

5. Finally, click on the send icon. You will receive a message saying, “Your reply has been added to the beep!”.
