Size limits & how to fix errors

Fixing “Files Size is over…” Error

Currently there is a 50 megabyte (MB) limit for the files you attach to each Beep. If you faced this issue there are two things you can do:

A) Delete some of the files you have attached to reduce the size. Here is how:

  1. Click on the “files” button right below your typed comment.
  1. Delete files as necessary until the file size limit message disappears (at this point, your total size of attachments are now below 50MB).

B) Use other options to transfer large files:

You can upload your files to cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Dropbox or others. And then simply insert the link to your file in Beep.

Why don’t we allow larger files sizes?

Beep’s main goal is to be fast and easy to use, we are not intended to be used as a file transfer system. But if you believe that you have a good reason for us to allow the inclusion of larger files then email us at roberto@justbeepit.com . We may reconsider this 🙂
